After running a half marathon I decided that was the maximum distance I would ever run. That changed when my friend Kathryn asked me to run the Chicago Marathon to raise money for spinal cord injury research. By raising money for spinal cord injury research I hope to help Kathryn and others with SCI get closer to walking again and maximize their quality of life.
