Nine years ago and newly injured, I attended the annual conference run by Unite 2 Fight Paralysis, the "Cure Warriors", and was inspired to join their fight. The seven versions of Team SCIS that have taken the streets of Chicago every October since would never have existed without the guidance and influence of U2FP. Last year, in the eighth year of our marathon program, we decided to make our partnership official. Spinal Cord Injury is a public health emergency and a daily battle for SCI victims and their families. U2FP has understood this from the beginning. The partnership with Team SCIS, combined with your donation, will ensure that a new generation of "Cure Warriors" will continue our fight.
