I have watched, cheered and supported a few of my friends who have raced for SCIS over the last several years. But this will be my first marathon, and I can't wait to check it off on my 40th birthday bucket list! For me, it's a personal motivation, and I want to help find a cure for people with SCI. I am a peer mentor for people with spinal cord injury, and I have been a member of Handcycle Chicago for 7 years. Time Goal: 3:59 (or finish!)
