Working 2 Walk is a two-day Science & Advocacy Symposium; you have the option to register for both days or your choice of individual days. Please read all of the information and registration options carefully so you are able to attend the sessions you want. You must complete a separate registration for each individual who wants to attend.

Miami Project: Note that due to scheduling conflicts, there will not be an organized tour of the Miami Project. For those who would like to arrange their own visits, please follow these instructions:

Tours of the Miami Project can be arranged on an individual basis between October 9-11 or 16-20.  Unfortunately, staff will be off-site October 12-14 and not able to provide tours on those days.  Please call the Education Department at 305-243-7108 and speak with Danielle Cilien.

Important Notes:

Your registration fee for the Symposium includes continental breakfast & lunch each day and the evening networking reception on Friday, October 13.

To accommodate the many folks in the region still recovering from Hurricane Irma, discounted Early Bird rates will remain in effect through the duration of the online registration period.

Online registration closes on Monday, October 9, 2017. We will take registrations at the door at the full price of $250 for 2 days and $175 for 1 day, but cannot guarantee meals or conference materials for onsite registrants.

Discounts and Grants:

Personal Care Assistant (PCA): If you require a personal care assistant in order to attend Working 2 Walk, we do not charge him/her a registration fee. However, he/she MUST register to attend. Please enter that person's name and email address in the appropriate field when you register. We will contact your PCA with the required information for a complimentary registration (limit one comp per attendee). 

Individuals with Paralysis: If you are paralyzed by injury or disease, we offer a 50% registration fee discount. Please send an email to ryanromine@u2fp.org verifying your condition, and we will send instructions on how to take advantage of the discount.

Students: If you are attending a college or university, we offer students a 50% discount.  Please send an email to ryanromine@u2fp.org verifying your student status (name of school and student ID), and we will respond with information on how to register as a student.

Refunds: We will honor refund requests up to one week prior to the event, minus 10% to cover processing fees.  Due to catering commitments, we cannot provide refunds requested after October 6.
