I've been raising money for the Ulman Cancer Fund since 2012 and have not missed a year yet!  I've done a few tri's, two Key to Keys bikes rides and been a member of Team Fight for a few years now!  I believe in this organization because they touch lives.  Many of them.  I have seen first hand how amazing this group is to young adults and their families.  

When my mom was battling cancer as a young adult, there were no Ulman's.  She went through her battle alone with just her family and friends helping her.  It was a hard time, and we are so lucky to still have my mother here with us today.  She is a two time cancer survivor and she is my greatest cheerleader and supportor!  Without her, I wouldn't be half the mom that I am today!  So each year, I dedicate a race to my mother as a survivor!  

This year I will once again be participating in the 2016 Iron Girl Columbia Triathlon in honor of my mom!  If you can help me meet my small goal, I would greatly appreciate it as many young adults will appreciate it too!

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, the Ulman Cancer Fund is able to provide free support services and resources for the young adult cancer community including:

Cancer to 5K - a 12-week training program designed to introduce or reintroduce cancer survivors to physical activity.

Patient Navigation - a free program (onsite at cancer centers and remotely through our office) that ensures no young adult ever faces cancer alone. We provide one-on-one support & resources to young adults and their families to help them manage the cancer expereience and long-term cancer survival.

Scholarships - a financial assistance program to help young adults continue their education after being affected by cancer through their own diagnosis or the diagnosis of a loved one.
