Last summer I embarked on a journey with 30 strangers who quickly became my family. We biked from Baltimore, MD to Seattle, WA to help raise awareness for young adults battling cancer. Our trip was not all sight-seeing and 80 degree sunny days. We fought through strong headwinds, pouring down rain, and over some tall mountains. As you fought through these hard days, there was always a teammate beside you to help get you through to the end making sure you didn't fight along. UCF is dedicated to helping those impacted by cancer to make sure they have what they need to fight their hard days.

This summer, my sister and I are taking on the Columbia Pedal and Paddle and Iron Girl Triathalon in hopes of continuing to raise awareness for this incredible organization and hoping to make a difference in our community.

I am not the same person I was when I started that trip last summer- the hard days, the generous people we met along the way, and my 4K family changed me in the best way possible. The families and communities that supported us along the way, humbled me and showed me how much of an impact you can make. I cannot help but to continue to give back to the organization that gave me and those around me so much.

Please help join me in honoring those who are impacted by cancer by supporting these wacky goals even if its being my new training partner. I am always looking for someone to take me on a new outdoor adventure. All proceeds go to support this amazing organization!

ABOUT Team Fight's FIGHT CLUB 2016

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, the Ulman Cancer Fund is able to provide free support services and resources for the young adult cancer community including:

Cancer to 5K - a 12-week training program designed to introduce or reintroduce cancer survivors to physical activity.

Patient Navigation - a free program (onsite at cancer centers and remotely through our office) that ensures no young adult ever faces cancer alone. We provide one-on-one support & resources to young adults and their families to help them manage the cancer expereience and long-term cancer survival.

Scholarships - a financial assistance program to help young adults continue their education after being affected by cancer through their own diagnosis or the diagnosis of a loved one.

Your donation will help make these programs and our mission possible!
