"No other humanitarian intervention produces a more dramatic effect on human life than access to safe water and sanitation" -WHO
Almost 1 billion people don't have access to clean water, and around 1 in every 3 people don't have proper sanitation. Wells Bring Hope have drilled more than 300 wells in Niger, the poorest country in the world, providing safe water to over 200,000 people.
Thanks to their incredible efforts, they have seen a huge drop in child mortality and an incredible increase in school attendance rates. Women and girls no longer have to walk miles to gather contaminated water for their families.
Providing clean water to communities is one of the most cost effective and powerful tools for improving quality of life, and lifting people out of poverty.
$5,600 will provide a well, latrines, and ongoing support to a village for over 15 years. Let's drill some wells!
