Adverse Childhood Experiences Study ~ Invitation-Only Training
Description
An educational training session for therapists, case managers, home visitors, in-home outreach counselors, clinical supervisors and administrative managers of WIN and WIN's Network Partners.
Educational objectives for the training include:
~ Recognizing the importance of adverse childhood experiences to future health, mental health, social adaptability, and economic viability of teens and adults;
~ Indentifying culturally sensitive and trauma-informed information about ACEs;
~ Practicing the administration of adult and child ACEs screenings using the Blodgett screening protocol (as adapted by WIN) through role-play;
~ Gaining knowledge regarding follow-up referral linkage and debriefing.
