61st Annual Jewel Ball Festivites

Soirée Dansante will be held Sunday, September 6 at the Shoal Crossing Event Center and is open to all Austin area 9th and 10th graders. A Labor Day weekend tradition since 1975, this is a fully chaperoned and secure party to honor the Belles and Beaux, 10th grade junior royalty to be presented at the Jewel Ball. The evening includes games, activities and an opportunity to dress up to kick off the school year. Tickets also include a commemorative t-shirt.

A Fashion Show and Luncheon will be held Friday, September 25 at the new JW Marriott. Pull together your best girlfriends and have a ball while supporting the Austin Symphony, Austin’s oldest performing arts group. The event features a lunch, presentation of Jewel Ball royalty, and a fashion show featuring Austin boutiques. The show is produced by fashion icon Sue Webber.

The crowning jewel of the fall is the Jewel Ball, held on September 26 at the Palmer Events Center. The evening will include dinner, dancing and an auction. The highlight is the presentation of the Royal Court, King Brio and his diamond Queen, junior royalty and visiting jewels from Texas symphony organizations. Put on your tuxedos and gowns and enjoy an unforgettable night of “Keeping Austin Classical”.
