The Herbert A. Templeton Foundation's award to the non-profit partner at CMC will help the organization provide music students with need-based scholarships.   The Community Music Center grants tuition waivers to student from families with demonstrated financial need.  These need-based scholarship applications total about $45,000 annually.  This important support from the Templeton Foundation will help the non-profit bridge the gap between these applications and private donations CMC receives.  See About CMC and our Annual Fund Drive page for more information on how scholarship assistance is used and how donors can help give the precious gift of music to children who otherwise would go without.
